Position Type: Full-time
Employment Classification: W-2 Employee, Benefits-Eligible
Reports To: Chief Impact Officer
Annual Salary: $60,000
Anticipated Start Date: 1/12/2027
POSITION SUMMARY:
Austin Angels is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Development & Partnerships Manager to help advance our mission through fundraising, strategic partnerships, community engagement, and compelling storytelling.
At the heart of this role is a simple belief: relationships change everything.
The Development & Partnerships Manager will play an important role in growing Austin Angels' community of supporters, cultivating philanthropic relationships, securing new partnerships, and connecting individuals and organizations to opportunities to invest in children, youth, and families experiencing foster care.
This is an externally facing position designed for someone who is a natural connector, an engaging communicator, and a strategic thinker. The ideal candidate builds trust easily, recognizes opportunities, and understands how to turn conversations into relationships that generate both financial support and long-term community investment.
Working closely with the Chief Impact Officer, the Development & Partnerships Manager will manage a portfolio of donor and partner relationships, represent Austin Angels throughout Central Texas, contribute to fundraising communications and strategies, and actively support organizational events and initiatives.
We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable sitting across the table from a prospective donor, speaking to a room of community leaders, developing a partnership proposal, or rolling up their sleeves to help bring an event to life.
This role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to make a measurable contribution to the growth and sustainability of Austin Angels.
